Alright. Time to talk process. Im still unsure if what I do is even a process but I'm thinking after this I might have my answer.
So after more time than I'd care to admit out of the painting game. WATCH OUT WORLD- IM BACK. I knew I wanted to paint a portrait of Cara Delevingne that I've had saved in my Inspiration Station for quite some time. For some reason though I didn't just start drawing her face. First, I messed around with a few photo editing apps on my phone. I've been doing a bit of double exposure and I was hoping to merge this portrait with one of my photos but the lines weren't working and I wanted something that fit well with her features. So, I found a picture of a painting I did in college of a flower. AND. This happened.
I'm nowhere close to being finished but I'm excited to see where this takes me. Im sure I'll throw in some designs and doodles and words because I just can't help it but I think I'll stick with this color scheme.
In the mean time, I looked up the definition of process - "a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end" or "a systematic series of mechanized or chemical operations that are performed in order to produce or manufacture something".
And then I found this word.
I'd like to think if painting were dancing,
